Farewell, Cath!

Welcome to what might be the biggest blog hop ever!  As you all know by now, Paper Crafts Magazine has undergone some major changes recently, including discontinuing the printed version of the magazine.  All subscriptions will be/are no digital only.  And, as part of these changes, Moxie Fab Cath's position was eliminated.  To say I'm sad is a huge understatement.  BUT, I am grateful that I know we will keep in touch and that this amazing industry brought us together.  You should have arrived from Anieszka Malyszek. 

Here's a picture me and Cath from CHA.  Isn't she cute?  Cath has been such a sweet friend over the past few years, especially supportive after our beloved Katie Renz passed away (two years ago this week).  We had some pretty heavy conversations during that time and I will never forget her support.




So, today we all come today in a giant blog hop to say THANKS and wish her well in whatever new endeavors await.  She will ALWAYS be Moxie Fab.

For my card I used the Woven A2 Embossing folder for my background and then some Into The Woods paper.  I used my Classic Ric Rac Edgeabilities to die cut the orange cardstock, layered some white faux suede ribbon and then used my fav Stiched Leaves die.  I stamped an encouraging little sentiment and heart (using Memento ink) from the new Paper Smooches Group Hugs set.  (Love that new set!)  I added a touch of Stickles on the heard and then I popped everything up on some dimensional dots and that's it!  Next up on the hop is my sweet friend, Cindy Lawrence!  Enjoy...and thanks for hopping through.

Cath, you are SO very loved and will be so very missed.  You have no idea what a huge inspiration you've been and the impact on this industry that you've had.

Guest Designer for November & December - Genevive Rulona!

We blinked, and suddenly it's November! With a new month brings another wonderful guest designer for a two month stay. This month we're thrilled to welcome Genevive Rulona. Genevive is joining us all the way from Singapore. Check out her scrapbook pages, they are fantastic!

Hi, I'm Genevive!I'm a Filipino currently living in Singapore with my loving husband, and our two adorable boys. Some days I work as a designer and instructor at my favorite local scrapbooking store, Made With Love. Most days I take care of my family and home, and managing my humble scrapbooking site,Thoughtful Crafts. The life I have right now is the life that I imagined! I am so thankful and blessed. 

Lastly, I am so happy to be guesting for i{heart}papers! I can't wait to share with you my creations :)

i {heart} papers is thrilled to be celebrating our 5^th birthday this month! To celebrate we’re having 5 days of savings! From October 21-25 check our SALE PAGE for steep birthday savings on hundreds of items, some marked down as much as 50%!

Guest Designer for October & November - Deborah Anton!

October is here! Ahhh the crisp, fall weather is upon us - such a wonderful time of year! It's also wonderful because we get to have another talented guest join us! Deborah Anton will be with us for the next two months. We are fortunate!

Here's a bit about Deborah:

My name is Deborah Anton and I am a stay at home mom to 11 year old twin boys and a wife of 12 years to a patient, loving, and awesome Army Officer.  I am originally from California but currently live in Tennessee.  I keep pretty busy just on the home-front with my active boys playing different sports, moving every few years, and volunteering with the Army.  But in the little "me" time I do get, I love to do anything crafty and hide in my craft room!! I started out 11 years ago designing and creating jewelry for 2 large retailers, which led me to having my own business; until 8 years ago when I met designer paper and glue.  A new love relation began! Thank you to Kate for this wonderful opportunity; I am so thrilled to guest design here at I{heart} Papers and being part of this fabulous team!
