I am NOT a wide ribbon gal. I love dainty little ribbons that I can knot and bow and tie easily. So today, the IHP DT was challenged to use wide ribbon. Now, I suppose the term “wide’ is subjective but for me anything over 5/8” or 7/8” is wide. My card uses 1 1/2” May Arts WIDE white silk ribbon. This ribbon is so luscious and remarkably easy to knot and bow. I have to admit, I do like the look of the full bow…maybe this is a slippery slope!
I used some paper from the Wisteria collection – I’ve been hoarding this too. Isn’t it pretty? I love the colors. I used my Long Scalloped Rectangle Nesties to make the perfect size mat by running the piece through twice and lining up the scallops to get the perfect size and then used some circle Nesties to make the tag. The greeting is stamped in Palette Violette.
Please go visit the other DT blogs to see their great projects and one of them even has blog candy! I’m not telling who though…you’ll have to visit to find out!
