No Five Minute Friday card today because IHP is participating in OCL’s Challenge this week. The challenge is to find an OCL card anywhere on the web (blogs, SCS, OCL Gallery) and CASE it with a different stamp set. I decided to CASE Kendra’s card HERE and I recreated it using Tweet Trees. And because it was Kendra, I HAD to paper piece my tree. It’s what she would have done. Trust me. :) *wink*
I used a strip of Upsy Daisy’s Majestic paper for the diagonal piece and then paper pieced using bits from BasicGrey’s Pyrus and popped them up with some dimensionals. I stamped the greeting is Palette Landscape and finished it off with some natural twine thread.
If you’d like to play along (and have a chance to win a prize), add your direct link to the OCL Blog Challenge here.
Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to check the rest of the IHP girls that are playing along:
Carolyn
Deb
Gretchen
Kendra
Lori
Lynn
Tracy
And just a reminder, almost all of the older OCL sets are on sale, along with lots of other goodies because I’m trying to clear out space for the recent CHA items that have been arriving almost daily! I’m expecting the 12 new Sketch Copics to arrive next week. Be sure to check Facebook for up to the date notices and sign up for the newsletter on the right side of the homepage so you don’t miss anything!
Have a great weekend!

LOL! I am ROTFLMAO right now because of your paper pieced tree comment! OMW! Anyway...now that my tears of laughter have passed, fabulous card girly! LOVE IT! Thanks so much for letting us do this challenge together today ~ loads of fun!!! YOU ROCK!
Very cute!
Beautiful card and such adorable trees. I would much rather have these trees in my yard with their trendy leaves - so much better than the gumballs that are hanging from mine at the moment! =)
This is adorable! You used the perfect paper for this, too. So cute Kate.
Love how you pieced the fun tree, sweet card!
So CUTE! Love this! Definitely channeling Kendra!
Fun card! Love the paper pieced tree and the perfectly coordinating tree patterned paper behind it.
