Done!

Yup! My Christmas cards are done...but you'll have to wait until next week to see them, once I know they've started to be delivered. I did 40 of one design, new for this year and then pillaged my stash of one-offs for an additional 25. Phew. I was glad to see the mailman take them away today.

Today was the first of my baking and decorating days. I made all of my sugar cookies today and decorated them. I also made my all time favorite snowball cookies (the dough only...they'll be baked another day). I also still have all my gingerbread men to make. The dough is chilling and they'll get done this week.

I am reminded that I love baking but hate piping bags. I always think I get more on me and all over than I actually use on the cookies. Today it was red royal icing on my face (because it was on my finger then I touched my face). I'm just no good at controlling the flow or getting the tips to work the way they should. Oh well. I stick with simple and it works for me.
