DT Challenge: You’re So Sweet Frame

This month’s DT Challenge theme was a inspiration photo from this amazing candy shoppe. And of course, I immediately reached for the latest Mint Motif set, Sweet Hearts. The candy was so inspiration but in conjunction with their little logo, I came up with this project.

I used a little shadowbox frame that I scored many, many years ago to alter. It’s been kicking around all this time and it was perfect for what I had in mind. I covered the edges with Pink Fabric Tape, stamped the gumball machine in Palette Noir and the hearts in various Palette colors. I colored it with Copics and added some Silver Stickles on the metal parts of the machine and covered the ball part with Glossy Accents. I hand cut the banner and stamped the heart edge also in Palette. I alternated “coloring” those hearts with Yellow and Pink Petal Liquid Pearls.

Be sure to visit the rest of the team to see their sweet creations!

This is adorable, Kate! I love the soft pink with the pop of warmer red and yellow, and the pretty mitered corners!

See- you don't need a cutting machine, you're rocking without one!! ;o)

Love that pink gingham frame for your super sweet image. I do so enjoy using stuff that has been kicking around for ages. It makes me feel better about my hoard.

Beautiful piece of decor...I don't have much of that for Valentine's Day, but this would make a great addition to anyone's home. Well done!
