DT Day: Lori

Hi, IHP fans!  It's Lori here with today's DT post.  My card uses stamps and dies from Waffle Flower, a brand that's brand new to IHP.

I used the Holiday Labels-Give Thanks set and coordinating Give Thanks dies to put together this seasonal design.  I stamped the set's large round label image in green ink, then added the sentiment in the opening using brown pigment ink.  The label was adhered to a cream panel over strips of green and sparkly gold paper.  I accented the label with the set's acorn and leaf images, stamped with a combination of pigment inks from Tsukineko and Avery Elle.  The acorn's attached with some dimensional dots for a little pop.  A few yellow sequins give the card even more sparkle.  I matted the finished panel on green cardstock, then adhered it to a kraft card base.

Don't forget about our Birthday Bash sale, too!

DT Day: Sarah

Hi IHP fans, Sarah popping in today with a bright and pretty thanks! Thank You cards are probably my most used and I just adored working with the new Fresh Cut Containers, Fresh Cut Containers dies and Hand Lettered Thanks and Hand Lettered Thanks dies from Wplus9.

With these "build a scene" sets, I like to die cut all the pieces, then stamp them all, playing around to see what looks best. I've used a mix of Avery Elle and Memento Luxe inks. The watering can was inked with Memento Luxe Gray Flannel, and I sponged on some Peanut Brittle before stamping for a rusted look.

The papers on this card are from the Me.ology pad and I've used some Here is Happy washi tape.

I finished with a little Candy Striper embellishment - love these! Thanks for stopping by today!

DT Day: Sarah

Hi IHP fans! It's that time of year, I'm starting to think about Christmas crafting. Every year I try (and fail) to handmake all my cards, sad right? This year I'm getting a head start with some postable designs using gorgeous products from IHP!

The new Wplus9 Christmas release makes for stunning cards! I've used the Stag Trio Die as the focal point of this one. The background was stamped with the trees from Winter Woodland in Rich Cocoa Memento Luxe and the sentiment is also from that set.

The papers are from the All Bundled Up collection and I've added a wooden snowflake to anchor the sentiment. I've also used the Finished Frames dies from Avery Elle - I LOVE this die set! Have you started your Christmas cards yet?

DT Day: Lindsay

Lindsay with you today, with a colorful card using Wplus9's Dream Believer set and dies.  There are plenty of elements in this set to create a wide variety of designs with.  I used it in a more traditional way for my card here.
I die cut the dream catcher and stamped it in brown ink, popping it up onto my card base.  I then die cut five feathers, stamping those with the coordinating stamp, and adhering them straight to card base.
I finished it off by stamping the cluster of dots in the same colors of ink in a triangle design on the card.  The Wink of Stella Glitter brush pen in clear, was added to the feathers for a bit of shimmer. Thank you for joining me here today!  I hope you are inspired to grab your stamps and dies and make a card!

DT Day: Vera

Hi all. Vera here. Today I want to share this fun card I made using some Paper Smooches sets.

I rarely play with kraft paper, but when I was crafting with a dear friend a few weeks back, I watched her creating beautiful card using kraft cardstock. So, I decided that I need to gift kraft cardstock a chance.

And, I sure am glad I did. To create this card, I use Paper Smooches Blossoming Buds, Birthday Sampler and Streamers set. Heat embossed the image and then colored the inside with pencil colors. And for the sentiment, that gorgeous color is from Avery Elle Raspberry ink pad. Seriously, this is one of the best ink pads out there.

By the way, have you checked out all the new items in the store? We just added Wplus9 and Waffler Flower new releases there. Check it out will you. Thanks so much for stopping by here.

Guest DT: Debbie Carriere

Happy October!  Today we're welcoming a new guest, Debbie Carriere! Woohoo!  Here's her first project and a little bit about her.

Hello!!  Debbie Carriere, here, and I am thrilled to be guest designing  for i {heart} papers!  I started stamping in 2008 and fell in love immediately.  Soon after, I found Splitcoaststampers and started playing along with lots of challenges - I was hooked!  I have had the pleasure of designing for some great companies and challenge sites over the past few years.  I make lots of cards and scrapbook occasionally.  You can visit me at my blog,  a simple diversion. In real life, I am mom to three great kids and wife to a very understanding husband.  When I’m not crafting or taking care of my family and home, you’ll find me running, reading, or enjoying the outdoors.  I am looking forward to sharing my creations using fabulous products from the IHP store!  Thank you to Kate & Tracy for inviting me!

Today I am sharing my first card using a couple fantastic stamp sets from the i {heart} papers store.

The border pattern is from Wplus9 - Borders & Backgrounds 4.  I love, love, love this set - so many possibilities!  The sentiment from Winnie & Walter - The Big, the Bold, and Blessings was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I added a few sequins from i {heart} papers and some clear sparkles from my stash.  The sequins are the spotlight silver.  Here is a closer look.

I'm looking forward to sharing some more projects using great products from the i {heart} papers store over the next couple months.

Supplies:
clear sparkles
red & green inks
white card stock
