DT Day: Lori

Hi, IHP fans! It’s Lori here for my turn on the IHP blog. My project shows off a new addition to the IHP store—pigment inks from Avery Elle. They’re another great ink option and work really well with both solid image and sentiment stamps, as you’ll see on the birthday card I’m sharing today.

I used Avery Elle’s Aim High stamp set for my card. I stamped one of the set’s arrow images in the Mint to Be ink and the birthday sentiment in Aquamarine ink on the round panel. The stamped panel is layered over a piece of green dotted paper from the Doodlebug Designs Kraft in Color-Color paper pad and a pair of coordinating fishtail flag strips. I added a trio of green enamel dots to finish off the design.

DT Day: Judy

Judy here today to share a quick but elegant wedding card!

I chose to use some of my 3x4 cards from the Project Life Wedding Mini Kit. All of the Project Life Mini kits are on sale in the i {heart} papers store HERE. I matted the chevron "i do." card with black cardstock and rounded the corners to match the PL cards. I added some Snow White Kaisercraft Basics Pearls and three black roses from my stash. Everything is held together with 1/4" Scor-Tape and Dimensional Dots.

Elegant and quick - and another way to use your Project Life supplies!

DT Day: Sarah

Hi everyone, Sarah here today to share a sweet little card that will have you wishing for sunshine!

I love challenges, and the Lawnscaping challenge this week (CAS cards) was the perfect excuse to whip out some new and older Lawn Fawn goodies!

Have you seen the new Large Stitched Journaling Card Die set? This was a must have for me! Here I've used the stitched journaling card die as my card base. This makes for such a cute sized card, perfect to tuck into a bouquet of flowers or a little gift bag.

The paper on this card is Daydreamer by Dear Lizzy. I'm already noticing a lot of citrus influences this season! I stamped the outline lemon from Make Lemonade directly on the paper, doesn't it look cute? The jug was colored with copics, trimmed out and popped up.

The speech bubble layer was created with the new Speech Bubble Border Die  and I've used the Scripty Hello to cut into it. The enamel dots finish off this simple design.

Inside I used the same trick to highlight a lemon, and a small sentiment from Make Lemonade. I think this card would be a perfect pick-me-up for someone having a bad day!

DT Day: Tracy

It's Tracy's day on the blog today!  Here's her post!

My mom's birthday is this week, and I decided to use some fun, spring-like colors on her card. I couldn't resist the combination of papers from Pebbles and Basic Grey. I also used sketch #104 from Retro Sketches for the layout.

I added a tiny butterfly to coordinate with my paper and topped it off with a little twine. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches. I hope my mom likes her card this year!
Butterfly Birthday Recipe Cardstock: MFT sweet tooth Decorative Paper: Basic Grey RSVP; Pebbles Garden Party Stamps: Paper Smooches Sentimet Sampler Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black Accessories: Fiskars apron punch, CSS butterfly die-cut, Hemptique light pink twine, Zva dimensionals

DT Day: Vera

Hi everyone and happy Thursday. Vera here today, popping in to share a card I made for i {heart} papers.

I love that i {heart} papers carry so  many fabulous 6x6 paper pads. I love them like I love chocolate. Hah... One of my favorite is Teresa Collins Memories paper pad. This pad has such gorgeous patterned that I find myself actually  hoarding it instead of using it. Sometimes, making that first cut on pretty patterned paper can be very difficult. ;)

Anyway, I finally took the step to use this pad and made this card.

I am so happy with the way this card turned out. It makes me think of spring. The flowers are from Avery Elle Laurels set with its matching dies and the sentiment is from Avery Elle Celebrate set

I hope you love the card as much as I do. By the way, do you know that some of the 6x6 paper pads are on sale 50% off?? Go check out the store and get some. Thank you so much for stopping by here. Have a fabulous Thursday!

And be sure to check out the NEW section.  We've had TONS of new CHA arrivals recently!

Today is the first of the month and we're welcoming a new guest designer for March and April, Annette Allen.  Here's what she has to say, and a peek at her first project for us!

"Hi, my name is Annette Allen. I am a stay at home wife with a passion for making cards. I have been making cards since 1997 and happy to say I love it just as much as when I first started. I like to dabble a little in scrapbooking, sewing and whatever else requires making a mess. I live my life for the Lord and enjoy each day. I am so grateful for all the new friendship I have made throughout the crafting world. I look forward to making many more and I hope that I can inspire you.
