Katie’s Sympathy card

katiesympathy

I mailed off a sympathy card to Kevin and the boys today for Katie.  It was hard.  It puts some weird finality on it.

I made this card using The Petal Press Summer Garden, stamped in Memento ink and colored with Copics and Stickles and then some Glossy Accents on the jar.  I used some Gathering paper and my oval Nesties.  Lastly I added a touch of lace and pearl trim as a finishing touch.

I wanted it to be simple yet classy and beautiful, just like Katie.  The sparkly Stickles remind me of her shining smile.  If you’d like to send a card, here is the mailing information:

The Renz Family
PO Box 5913
Bellingham, WA 98227-5913

Have a good day!  Thanks for sharing part of it with me!

Thank you for the address, I didn't know Katie but she has touched my heart with everyone else's pain... She must have been a VERY GREAT PERSON!!!!

I am glad to see you make this card, yes, "Weird" finality" however you have to start to heal too... Closure doesn't mean to forget!!!!!

Love you Friend!!!!

Beautiful. I find sympathy cards the hardest things to make.
