Bundle of Joy

Hi everyone! It's Taylor here today, sharing an adorable card from i {heart} papers DT Member Lori. HOW sweet is this new baby card? Here is a little bit about what she had to share about her card:

I made a sweet, gender-neutral baby card using Lawn Fawn’s Plus One set. The set’s stork image is stamped on white cardstock and colored a bit with Copic markers, then attached to a cream panel with dimensional dots. Instead of coloring the stork’s bundle, I paper pieced it with a small piece of grid patterned paper. The congratulatory sentiment is stamped underneath the image across three lines. The rest of the space on the panel is filled with a narrow notch ended strip that’s anchored with a matching twine-threaded button. A strip of delicate cream ruffle edge trim runs along the left side of the panel for a soft touch. I used a piece of dotted patterned paper for the panel along the left side of the card. It’s matted with kraft cardstock so it stands out from the pale green background and to tie it together with the image panel, too.

Materials Used: from i {heart} papers: Lawn Fawn Plus One stamp set and natural hemp twine, X-Press white Copic blending cardstock, Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Copic markers (Y21, BG0000, BG000), Echo Park This & That Charming Collection Kit, Maya Road cream ruffle edge trim, Sticky Thumb dimensional dots
