ihp0912
Do you LOVE bling? So do we! This month the i {heart} papers design team and the team from Zva Creative are celebrating the love of beautiful bling! Since each of our teams have designers that are also Paper Craft Planet Super Novas, we asked the PCP team to host some special challenges throughout the week. There will be lots of beautiful, blingy inspiration!

I am the first stop on the hop, so you’re in the right place to make sure you won't miss a single gorgeous project!

Zva Creative produces many beautiful color groupings of high quality pearls, flowers and crystal embellishments that can be used on scrapbooking, card making and mixed media projects. Visit Zva’s gallery or blog for great project ideas and to find a list of stores and online retailers that sell Zva click HERE.

Zva Creative will be selecting one lucky winner who comments along the blog hop to win a Zva prize package worth $30. All comments must be received by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, September 19th. Winners will be announced on Zva’s blog on Thursday, September 20th.

For my project, I altered a white paper lunch bag into a treat bag.  I covered the front and back with black cardstock, using some i {stick} papers redline tape, folded over about 2 inches of the top and covered it with orange cardstock, with the edge cut with the Classic Ric Rac Edgeabilities.  Then I added the bat paper from Doodlebug Haunted Manor 12x12 Collection Kit and two of the tag embellishments from the kit and some reversible silver/black ribbon.  I paper pieced the Paper Smooches Spookalicious cutie little vampire’s cape with some back on black chevron paper, also from the kit, colored him with Copics and popped him up on some of my favorite dimensional dots.  Lastly I added some gorgeous iridescent Zva bling – this one and this one.  I closed the bag with a Velcro dot from my stash so it’s reusable.
From here, you're visiting Amy Sheffer, IHP guest designer for the month. Thanks for visiting, and enjoy the hop! We hope to see you and your creations this week on Paper Craft Planet!
