Swimming for Katie – Day Two

swim-for-katie

Today is Day Two of the Swimming for Katie blog hop and we have another amazing batch of designers lined up for you.

This octopus (as a real stamp and digi), along with several other items are for sale here. 100% of the profits go to Katie’s fund, to help her and her family.

If you're not familiar with her, Katie’s cancer story started just before Christmas last year. This young, beautiful, healthy, vibrant mother of 3 with her infectious smile was suddenly diagnosed with an inoperable cancer, virtually overnight. A few tummy aches and then stage 4 gastric cancer. Her first post about it is here. The idea of “Swimming for Katie” came from her recent post here.

I hope you will join me in supporting Katie through a purchase or donation (donation link on the left sidebar of my blog). If you would like to send Katie a card, her mailing address is:

For my card today I paper pieced the octopus (stamped in Memento ink) using some Life of the Party paper. I also used a tiny scrap of Togetherness for the crown and flag. The flag is popped up on dimensional dots and everything is layered on a die-cut using Spellbinders Labels 5.

I’ll be back again tomorrow with the list from the last day. If you’re behind, or just want to see everyone who is posting for Katie, you can visit this static page. It also has the donation button.

Thanks for stopping in today!
