Easter cookies

eastercookies

Hello!  I hope you all enjoyed the weekend.  I was busy making preparations for Easter, which included baking and decorating 3 dozen cookies.  Now, I am no Bridget from Bake at 350 (seriously AMAZING cookie decorating skill over there) but I think my little duckies are pretty cute.  My piping skills leave a little (OK…a LOT) to be desired but hey – at least I’m a good papercrafter,  right?

I used her sugar cookie recipe and it is pretty darn yummy.  It’s not too sweet, which is good if you’re completely covering the cookies with colored liquid sugar.

I’ll be back tomorrow with a card!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Those turned out awesome!! I've been wanting to try her recipe for the longest time. I bought some meringue powder and everything... all ready to go. Now I just have to do it...
